When you received an NFT either from a Giveaway Contest, or you even purchased one with your funds, the next thing for you to do is to have it listed for sale on NFT Market Places like OpenSea, Binance NFT Marketplace, Axie Marketplace, Crypto.com, Eden, etc., so that you can make some profit from it. In this post, I will be showing the Step-By-Step Guide on how to access your NFT on your Trustwallet App and get it listed on OpenSea

Exciting right?. Let’s get started.

I will briefly explain the following, before I dive into the procedures:

What are NFTs?

NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are assets in the digital world that can be bought and sold like other pieces of property. They are being stored on the blockchain like Ethereum, Polygon, etc., they can be in form of Artworks, Gaming, Music, etc.

When an asset is said to be fungible. it means that its units can be readily interchanged – e.g money. With money, you can swap a $20 note for two $10 notes and it will have the same value.

However, if something is non-fungible, this is not possible – it means it has unique properties so it can’t be interchanged with something else.

What is Opeansea.io?

OpenSea is a decentralized marketplace for buying, selling, and trading NFTs, domain names, virtual land, music, trading cards, etc. It’s said to be the first and biggest decentralized marketplace for digital goods.

It is Founded in the year 2017 by  Alex Atallah and Devin Finzer, it initially began as a market for CryptoKitties but now has expanded beyond collectibles. It’s currently a marketplace for various digital assets, including art, domain names, game items music, etc.

OpenSea is built on the Ethereum blockchain, It supports various wallets, like MetaMask, Coinbase, and TrustWallet. OpenSea also supports various blockchains, such as Polygon (MATIC) and Klatyn (KLAY). They have up to 150 payment options that you can choose from, in order to ensure the platform can be used by anyone.

Features Of OpenSea

The followings are the features offered by OpenSea:

NFT Gifting

This feature allows a user to send NFTs as a gift to other OpenSea users. You can either use your friend’s User ID/Username on OpenSea, or you the NFT directly to their Ethereum Wallet address so that they can receive it directly in their wallet. It also allows you to receive NFT gifts from friends from other platforms.

NFT Minting

NFT Minting is simply the process of publishing a unique instance of your digital asset on the blockchain. Currently, OpenSea doesn’t charge a fee for minting NFTs, but you will pay a 2.5% service fee after the sale.

Cost Free

Compared to other NFT marketplaces, Opensea is totally free to set up a marketplace, but they charge a 2.5% service fee for each sale you make.

What is Trustwallet?

Trust Wallet is a decentralized mobile wallet company for Ethereum and ERC20/ERC223 tokens. It provides a fully secured and audited system that makes it easy to store cryptocurrency and other digital assets. Trustwallet application is available for both iOS and Android

Having made you familiar above things now let’s dive into the procedures you will follow to list your NFT

For PC Users (Laptop/Desktop)

Step 1: Open your browser and input opensea.io into the search bar

Step2: Click on the User Icon at the Top-Right corner of the page, then select “Profile”

Step3: Click on WalletConnect, you will be shown a QR Code to scan

Scan the QR Code with your Phone

Step4: Open the Trustwallet application on your phone

• Click on the “Settings” Tab
• Select “Wallet Connect”
• Scan the QR Code you have on your Computer’s Screen
• You will be prompted to click “Connect” on your Trustwallet
• Click “Connect” to log in to your account.

Step 5: Having logged in to your account, click on the “Hidden” tab to unhide your NFT first

Click on the More Options button “…”, then select unhide

You will be prompted by Trustwallet app to click “OK”

Step 6: Click on the “Collected” tab

Your NFT should appear here now

Select the NFT you want to sell

Click on the “Sell” Button

• Input the price (in ETH value) you wish to sell it (Note: Do not List below floor price)
• Adjust the duration if you wish or leave it how it was
• Click on Complete “Listing”

• Click on “Unlock” to open Selling Functionality, You will be prompted by Trustwallet to click “Ok”
• Then Click on “Sign” and you will prompted Trustwallet sign the transaction.

Congrats! you’ve just got your NFT listed.

For Mobile Phone Users:

• Open the Truswallet app on your phone
• Click on the “NFTs” tab (it is located beside the “Tokens” tab)
• Click “Open on OpenSea.io”
• Click on the Menu Icon and Select “Account”

You can follow the above screenshots from here to complete the remaining steps

• Click on “Profile”
• Scroll the tabs to the left, then select the “Hidden” tab
• Click on the More option button on the NFT you wish to unhide, then select “Unhide”
• Now scroll back to the “Collected” tab and click on the NFT you wish to sell
• Click on the “Sell” Button
• Input the price (in ETH value) you wish to sell it (Note: Do not List below floor price)
• Adjust the duration if you wish or leave it how it was
• Click on “Complete “Listing”
• Click on “Unlock” to open Selling Functionality, You will be prompted by Trustwallet to click “Ok”
• Then Click on “Sign” and you will prompted Trustwallet sign the transaction.

Congrats! you’ve just got your NFT listed.

Conclusion

Having gotten NFT listed, you have to wait for buyers to bid for it, and once a buyer clicks to buy and pays for your NFT, the transaction will be done automatically and your fund will be transfered to your wallet.
